Farmer’s Farm Observation and Technical Support Field Visit Back to Nature – Organic Farming Non-Formal Training Program
The Back to Nature – Organic Farming Non-Formal Training Program Field Visit focused on Resource Persons’ Observation and Technical Support at the commercial farming sites in Lubhu, Lalitpur. The visit provided in-depth practical knowledge to the farmers and enabled Resource Persons to evaluate farming practices, offer expert guidance, support farmers in improving organic agricultural productivity and sustainability.
This visit served as an advanced extension learning activity following previous training sessions on soil health, composting, nursery management, and organic farming techniques.
Objectives of Technical Field Visit
- Allow Resource Persons to assess the existing organic farming systems at Lubhu
- Provide hands-on technical support and corrective advice to commercial farmers
- Strengthen trainees’ understanding through field-based observation and interaction
- Promote farmer-to-farmer knowledge transfer and practical exposure
- Encourage adoption of effective, low-cost, and sustainable organic farming practices
